2007 British Science Fiction Association Award Winners

The 2007 British Science Fiction Association Award winners were announced in London. The winners are:

Best Novel:
Brasyl by Ian McDonald (Gollancz)

Best Short Fiction:
"Lighting Out" by Ken MacLeod (from disLocations; Newcon Press)

Best Artwork:
"Cracked World" by Andy Bigwood (cover of disLocations)

BSFA Fiftieth Anniversary Award: Best Novel of 1958:
Non-Stop by Brian Aldiss.

It is good to see that Ian McDonald's "Brasyl" which was very deserving get the win in the best novel category.
